While retaining the classic 5-pocket design that Levi's has built over its long history, the original 501 has evolved into a modern straight fit. With its perfected modern straight silhouette, the timeless lot number 501 will revolutionize the world in 2013. The 501 uses 12.5oz Cone denim. It uses an updated version of XXX9 denim, created with the image of the extremely dark indigo from 1909, as documented by Cone Mills. The uneven texture created by mixing threads of different thicknesses in the warp is characteristic, and it is a special denim that becomes more flavorful the more you wear it, reminiscent of the origins of denim.
